2008 Race Schedule Open House May 3 11am - 4pm Race Nights Registration opens at 6:30, Gate drops at 8:00 May 9 (opening night), 16 (Bob Warnicke Race QUAD POINTS), 17&18 State Qualifiers (DOUBLE POINTS), 23, & 30 June 6, 13, 20, & 27 July 3, 10 (DOUBLE POINTS), 17, 24, & 31 August 7, 14, 21, & 28 Sept. 5, 12, 19, & 26 Oct. 3, 10, 17, 24 & 31 END OF SEASON Practice nights are Tuesday evening from 6-8 pm In the event of a race rainout. Practice nights may be used for race makeups.
presents The "King of the Empire" Pro/Am series May 17 New Paltz, NY June 7 CNY Bridgewater, NY June 14 Kingston, NY July 12 Tri-City Rotterdam, NY August 2 Shoreham, NY August 23 Catamount Bennington, VT Championship Race Sept 13 Shoreham, NY
Registration will be $20 per race. Ten dollars will go towards that days race and the other ten will go towards the championship.
The rules:
1) 16 and over, open wheels
2) Amatuers must race their respective class in order to compete in the open. 3) All riders must have a valid NBL license 4) You must race 4 of the 6 qualifiers in order to race the championship 5) All rules pertaining to payouts and open series in accordance with the current NBL rulebook apply. The Points: 1) Each rider is awarded 1 point per moto regardless of finish 2) No points for 1/4's or Semi's 3) Main event points: 1st=8 2nd=7 3rd=6 4th=5 5th=4 6th=3 7th=2 8th=1 The championship race will be triple points There will be no pre-registration
