Volunteers

New Paltz BMX is a 501(c)3 public charity and we need your help!

Our program is run by a dedicated group that is 100% volunteer.  It takes an enormous amount of effort to make this facility top notch. We need help repairing the track after each rain storm, mowing the grass,  and emptying the trash- scoring, corner marshaling, announcing the races – prepping, cooking and cleaning in concessions.  We need help distributing fliers in school systems, finding track sponsors and attending parades and other recruiting activities.  More hands make for less work.  Please ask how you can help make a difference.

The most important thing you can do to help grow our program is spread the word.  BMX is an amazing sport.  So unique is the ability for entire families to participate together, to progress at your own pace and set individual goals.  If BMX is an important part of your life, has made a difference in your child, PLEASE tell others.  Tell your friends and neighbors, tell school officials. Heck, BMX makes for a great conversation- tell a stranger!

Volunteers are rewarded with free practices and recognized for their work and dedication.  Best of all we show our kids about hard work, team work, and community effort.
